After suddenly experiencing a range of debilitating new health conditions that landed me in the ER and urgent care, then undergoing testing at a variety of immunology and gastroenterology clinics that offered no answers, I decided to give Functional Medicine a shot. Victoria Rivera, PA-C is a family medical physician assistant. I had been suffering for the last 7 years from abdominal pain, but was NOT able to find any answers through conventional medicine. Thus, my reason for exploring alternative medicine. I found her while researching online for “alternative treatment” providers, that were also experienced in traditional medicine. Because she was highly recommended, I made an appointment. After my first visit, I was hopeful.
